What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining the management programme?

You can make a difference since day one. Get ready to share your ideas with a senior management of the company, work on exciting local and regional projects, gain invaluable knowledge and experience while rotating between all key departments of the organization. You will be exposed to various challenging roles throw-out the duration of the programme and will have a unique opportunity to become an expert in trade credit insurance.


What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining the management programme?

The Management programme is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to build a career in international trade.
It has been an incredible journey for me and I would definitely encourage others to follow a similar path.

Why did you choose Euler Hermes management program?

I was always a big fan of Euler. When I was in university, I had to study the role of export credit agencies, that’s when I first heard about EH. That’s why I looked into Euler Hermes. Then, when I found out about the management scheme, I could not say no J. So I had to apply.

How do you think that the rotation across different has helped your professional career development?

This is fantastic opportunity for any recent grads. When you finish university, it’s quite hard to figure out exactly what to do or where to go. So a rotational programme like this one is indeed a great start! When you rotate departments, you can see what you enjoy more and where you would like to specialise in.
More comments: At the moment I am working in Market Management department for Northern Europe. Euler continues to invest in my professional development with a wide range of training and educational programmes that I can do.


What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining the management programme?

The programme presents an excellent opportunity for those interested in a fast track career acceleration due to its high intensity and hands-on working experience. During each rotation the participants have the chance to learn, be continuously challenged and get exposure to the different business areas by being fully integrated into all of its core functions. As such, the trainees are given the chance to not only work alongside local teams and senior management, but also to participate in regional projects and initiatives that have a long term impact and value added.
Therefore, the programme provides an opportunity for gaining international as well as cross-functional experience which provides an in-depth understanding of how the whole business operates. It’s both very challenging and dynamic experience, nonetheless, a journey that is worth commencing as it enables you to explore every angle of the business by empowering you with the tools you need to jump start your career.


After almost half a year on the programme what advice would you give to our future Leadership candidates? ​

During my first rotation, I found it extremely important to be open-minded and critically analyse each of the processes I was exposed to.
In order to succeed in the Management Trainee role, one has to be capable of overcoming skepticism and finding ways to make your voice heard. Programme participants have an advantage of viewing the complete picture of the insurance process in different business units and therefore they need to be alert for optimization opportunities and workflow facilitation.
