What attracted you to Euler Hermes?

I started at Euler Hermes after many years in consulting. At that time the company was simply called Euler, and I was offered the chance to move to London to help drive the creation of our first worldwide entity, Euler International. At that period, our group was made up of only three countries, France, Belgium and the UK, and our culture could be described as country-centric. Today we are present in more than 50 countries and we have a completely international perspective. We work with a diverse group of people and rely on the economic context in each of our regions to drive best-practice across the group.

How did you grow within Euler Hermes?

I have been fortunate to work in several countries – UK, Belgium and France, and also with different business departments on a range of information system projects, from Euler International to IRP, production consolidation programme, – our most complex system and one that is truly dedicated to our core global business. These experiences helped me to advance and ultimately reach the Group CIO position that I kept for six years, until September 2015 when I took a 10-month sabbatical to complete my Masters of Engineering in an executive program at George Town University in Washington, DC. Upon my return, I received a new challenge in the opportunity to step-in as Head of Group HR, which is also a perfect demonstration of our current strategy – promoting cross functional moves.

Describe Euler Hermes in 3 words

Innovative. Dynamic. International.

What do you enjoy most about working with Euler Hermes?

Euler Hermes is a truly global company but it is small enough to be pragmatic, and deliver fast and concrete results, while still keeping a global & international outlook. This is what I enjoy.
