Euler Hermes, the world’s leading credit insurer, has appointed Michele Pignotti Chief Executive Officer of its Italian subsidiary Euler Hermes SIAC as of May 1st, 2008. (Paris, 05/05/2008)
Michele Pignotti, born in Naples in 1964, joined Euler Hermes SIAC in December 2004 as Commercial and Marketing Director, in charge of consolidating Euler Hermes’ leadership on the Italian market and enlarging its portfolio of services. Prior to this, Michelle Pignotti worked as European Marketing Manager for Sara Lee’s Personal Products division before joining Telecom Italia Wireline in 2000 as Marketing Director of the Business Division.
Michele Pignotti will be taking over the CEO position from Jean-François Bellissen, who is retiring.

Euler Hermes SIAC is based in Rome and counts about 500 staff members in Italy. The company posted a 247,757 million euro turnover in 2007, up 9.8% from the previous year.
