Ludovic joined Euler Hermes as Chief Economist in 2011. He also heads macroeconomic and thematic research for Allianz SE globally since 2017. Ludovic sits on the Board of Directors of Solunion, Euler Hermes’ joint venture company for Spain and Latin America. Before joining the financial sector, Ludovic worked for prestigious institutions such as the French Ministry of Finance, the United Nations and the World Bank. He helped design economic policies in more than 30 countries around the world. Ludovic graduated from the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique and from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris. He has appeared on tier 1 media worldwide where his knack for words and gusto for economics are highly appreciated. Ludovic is fluent in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German and Arabic.

Alexis Garatti joined Euler Hermes as Head of Macroeconomic Research in 2017. He oversees the macroeconomic research team and the production of economic analyses and forecasts. Prior to that, he worked for Taikang Asset Management as the Head of Global Economic Research, providing multi - asset analysis and strategic calls for a portfolio of gobal equity. Since 2009, he worked for various asset managers in Hong Kong, with a growing focus on China and Asia Pacific. He started his career as an economist in Natixis’ Research Department, working three years in Paris and two years in London. He first covered the UK and European Nordic economies, then focused on the US and Eurozone. He published “Why England lost”, a book analyzing the UK’s economic decline. He holds a PhD in macroeconomics with a focus on “macroeconomic shocks and monetary unions” from the University of Bordeaux.

Sabine joined Euler Hermes as the Assistant to the Chief Economist and Office Manager for Economic Research. She assists the Chief Economist with his complex agenda, meetings and international travels. She supports the Economic Research Department, is the link with external stakeholders and manages the budget for the Department. All this while creating a happy and comfortable atmosphere within the team. Prior to this, she had an atypical work history in food, tourism and finance from Paris to New York City. Sabine holds an engineer’s degree in Agri-food from Agrocampus Rennes.

She often gives interviews on key hot topics like Brexit, Italy, the ECB and Greece to important media such as BFM, Les Echos, Le Monde, CNBC, City AM, The Times, Milano Finanza and Il Sole 24 Ore. Before her current position, Ana worked as a European Economist at equity broker Exane BNP Paribas for 2 years. She is a graduate of Sorbonne University where she majored in Economics and of Paris II-Assas University where she obtained a Master's degree in Banking and Finance.

He has developed a particular expertise in country risk assessment and oversees the country risk methodology at Euler Hermes. Manfred has a keen interest in international trade and emerging markets analysis. Based in Hamburg, Manfred has held various positions in Marketing, Risk and the Economic Research Department of Euler Hermes. Prior to that, he worked as a research associate at the University of Hamburg. Manfred holds a PhD in economics and a diploma in mathematics.

Françoise is a graduate from ENSAE ParisTech, with a Statistician Economist degree, specialised in economic forecasting and public policies. She also studied in the APE programme (economic analysis and policy) at Paris School of Economics.

During 20 years in senior positions with a number of global investment banks, such as Cazenove and Nomura, she advised on multi billion M&A transactions and privatisations and achieved Nr 1-3 ratings in the Extel and Institutional Investor surveys. She holds a M. Sc. in finance from the University of Mannheim and earned her MBA from the Essec Business School.

Marc joined Euler Hermes France in 1995 as a credit analyst. He was successively responsible for the financial risk monitoring of all companies located in several French departments of Brittany, Aquitaine, Normandy and Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis for fifteen years. After one and a half year in the French underwriting department, he then moved on to the Economic and Sector Research department of Euler Hermes Group where he started following up the pharmaceutical sector in both structural and financial terms. He has expanded his sector expertise to many other industrial sectors on a global scale ever since. He graduated from the Paris-Dauphine university with a Master (M2) in corporate finance.
